I tried this at Christmas. Decreased the mild based on previous reviews so the texture was good however it was rather bland. One guest thought it was good, the rest of the guests were pretty neutral on it. Ok but wouldn't make it again.

I thought this recipe was 'ho-hum' my Mom's is definatly better. The sauce was too runny for me, and I left out the Worchester sauce. I hate that stuff

Hubby loved it, he's a big green bean casserole fan and mine normally aren't that great. This was perfect! (I did add some salt though.)

Finally a recipe where the beans aren't swimming in soup! The only thing left at the grocery was cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic. I was a little nervous at first but it turned out even better. I omitted the soy sauce because the soup had a strong flavor. From now on I will use cream of mushroom with roasted garlic!

This is always a holiday favorite...and I even make it every once in a while for a regular dinner and surprise my husband. I always use fresh or frozen green beans in mine, I don't like the recipes that call for canned green beans I think they get mushy. Although I feel that way about all canned veggies and almost always use fresh or frozen.

We love the cheese version of this. If I don't have cream of mushroom soup on hand I use cream of chicken. Either ways it's always delicious.

This is a traditional dish that I make every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I used Cream of Celery soup instead of Cream of Mushroom and I use Worstechire Sauce instead of Soy Sauce. I also used canned green beans.

Bf loves this bc his mom used to make it. I don't like it the way it's recommended. I add a can of tuna and slip some cooked macaroni or instant rice in there when he's not looking (he doesn't seem to notice the noodles/rice).

A family tradition, but living overseas, I sometimes can't get the French's onions and have substituted potato sticks or potato chips, along with dried onion flakes. It isn't exactly the same, but not too bad. I also reduce the milk to 3/4 C and leave out the soy sauce. Canned french-cut green beans are my favorite to use.
